When it comes to working out the glutes, there are a lot of different exercises that can be effective. But one of the best exercises for targeting the glutes is the hip thrust.

So, what is the hip thrust? The hip thrust is a movement where you drive your hips up into the air, using your glutes to generate the force. You can do this exercise with or without weight, but using weight will make the exercise more challenging and therefore more effective.

To do the hip thrust, start by lying on your back with your feet flat on the ground and your knees bent. Then, place your hands on the ground beside you for support. From here, drive your hips up into the air, keeping your back flat on the ground. Squeeze your glutes at the top of the movement, then slowly lower your hips back to the starting position.

One of the great things about the hip thrust is that it can be done anywhere, without any equipment. So, if you’re looking for a great exercise to target your glutes, give the hip thrust a try.
