If you’re looking to add some extra oomph to your chest workout, give this move a try. The pectoralis muscle is the largest muscle in the chest, and this exercise targets it specifically.
Start by lying on your back on a flat surface with your feet flat on the ground and your knees bent. Place your hands behind your head, keeping your elbows in. Use your abdominal muscles to curl your torso up so that your shoulders and upper back are off the ground, and then slowly lower yourself back down. That’s one rep.
Aim for three sets of 10-12 reps. This exercise can be made more challenging by holding a weight in your hands or by placing your feet on an elevated surface.
