This exercise is a great way to work the triceps, which are the muscles on the back of the upper arms. The triceps are responsible for extending the elbow, and so this exercise will help to strengthen them.

To do the exercise, start by holding a weight in each hand. Bend your knees and place your feet hip-width apart. Then, bend your elbows and lower the weights down towards your hips. Be sure to keep your elbows close to your sides as you lower the weights. Once your elbows are at a 90-degree angle, press the weights back up to the starting position. Repeat this exercise for 10-12 reps.

This exercise can be made more challenging by using heavier weights, or by doing more reps. For example, you could try doing 15-20 reps instead of 10-12.
