A great way to tone your abs without any equipment is to do a circuit of ab exercises. This can be done by performing each exercise for one minute and then resting for 30 seconds before moving on to the next exercise. For this circuit, you will need no equipment other than a timer.
The first exercise is a plank. Start in a push-up position, but rest on your forearms instead of your hands. Keep your body in a straight line from your head to your heels and hold for one minute.
The next exercise is mountain climbers. Start in a plank position again, but this time, bring your right knee to your chest and then return to the starting position. Alternate legs for one minute.
The third exercise is scissor kicks. Lie on your back on the floor and raise your legs straight up in the air. Slowly lower your right leg towards the floor while raising your left leg. Alternate legs for one minute.
The last exercise is flying supermans. Lie on your stomach on the floor and raise your legs and arms off the ground. Hold for one minute.
Rest for one minute and then repeat the circuit two more times for a total of three circuits.
