If you’re looking for a simple exercise to do at home to work on your arms, this triceps exercise may be just what you need. All you need is a chair and a set of dumbbells.

Sit on the edge of the chair with your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent. Holding the dumbbells in your hands, extend your arms straight up overhead. From here, bend your elbows and lower the weights behind your head, keeping your upper arms close to your ears. Once your elbows are at about a 90-degree angle, press back up to the starting position. That’s one rep.

Be sure to keep your shoulders down and away from your ears throughout the movement. You can do this exercise with one dumbbell in each hand, or two dumbbells in one hand. If you’re using two dumbbells, hold them together so that they touch each other throughout the movement.
